Hubbell Studios Art Community

A strange thing happened today.  I discovered I had a sister.

This was something of an amazing surprise.  Patricia had three children!

So I decided to create a new community under the Hubbell Studios website, so that all of you who new Patricia Hubbell or Elizabeth Hubbell, could share your experiences.  Those that only know them through their master works that they created are welcome to contribute your thoughts as well.

We hope you will enjoy this community, and find it useful as well!

In fact, if you have a Hubbell painting, and would either like to have it appraised (which I will do for free), or offer it for sale, you are welcome to post it here (for free – along with photos!).

I am grateful to my mother and grandmother for the skill they pounded into my head, regardless of my interest at the time.  But it also seems we are all bitten by the same genetic artistic talent, just in different media.  Mine being the web, my daughter Kyra in drawing and sculture, our niece Suzie as a painter, and Pat’s daughter (my sister) Michelle is also a painter (and I hear her two sons Colin and Cade also may have it).  I dedicate this website to them all!

Those of you who are artists understand the drive the compels the creative process.  It drove my mother her whole life until her death in 1996.  Elizabeth, simply loved to paint.
